Death, specifically mass murder as demonstrated in the worse of the game's endings, known as 'Bowling for Volcano High' disqualifies it from featuring on a number of game platforms such as STEAM due to the sensitive topic touched upon in that conclusion. Some spiritualistic topics (religion, astrology, etc) appear in a dismissive leaning way. Snoot Game features Human/Dinosaur animosity as a stand in for a commentary on real-world race relations, but also controversial implications in regards to Fang's gender identity. Snoot Game includes drug references, such as smoking (Fang's habit) and lewd scenes players have the option of turning on. As is typical of a number of visual novels, Snoot Game has multiple endings- a total of four. The player makes a few decisions through the novel, most seemingly having no immediate impact on the narrative as the game is built around the basis that little things pile up into larger things with each ending reflecting how little impacts can blow up into huge results. Being a visual novel, much of the game is an interactive narrative with the player choosing typically one of two options to move the plot forward. Anon Mous starts as a jerk like character who in turn is treated in a jerk like way by others, but eventually matures as a person. In Snoot Game players take on the role of a Human, Anon Mous, who transferred from Rock Bottom to Volcano High to get away from an incident at their old school.
